Anyone have a good experience buying quality carpet for a decent price and installation. I know I'm asking for the moon. Remnants would be fine, but looking for a honest and decent seller.

I really like Montauk carpet in Mellville. They do have a remnaant room in the back. Their prices are fair. they sell a wide variety of rug. I also used Brian's Love my carpet in Valley Stream. That was some time ago but they had a large selection or Remnants. Good luck.

Try Dan's carpet in Coram on route 112.I purchased remnants to install myself for my 2 kids rooms. I walked out paying $125.I then had them do the rest of my house months later.Nice carpet, very reasonable prices especially compared to the bigger name places.

We were very happy with cost and installation with Long Island Carpet on Rt 25A in Port Jeff Station or East Setauket, not sure where the line is.
