Since Ground Round has departed , I want to know the best places on Long Island to get buffalo wings...they also must have good blue cheese for dipping! And deals are a plus!

I already received some response on my previous thread, but I thought this would be more obvious.

Thank you!!

Buffalo Wild Wings has good wings for those times when I don't feel like making my own.

any good sports bar should have decent wings. I'm not sure how they'd stay in business without them. Croxley's has great wings. Nice sauce and the wings are usually pretty meaty. Post Office in Babylon also had very good wings.

As much as chains suck, Buffalo Wild Wings is good..some of their sauces are excellent.

I like Croxley too..haven't been there in awhile. I miss their commercials from the 90's/early 2000's.

"10 cent wings, MAN, 10 cent wings!!"

There is a ground round in riverhead but if you want really good wings your two best bets on Long Island are Hooters and buffalo wild wings. So good and hot you'll enjoy your beer even more.

Part of the problem is that I don't drink beer!

Hooter's wings are awful.

Want some good wings try the Courthouse Bar & Grill in Massapequa Park. It's a gin mill, shot and a beer kind of place, so some of you self-styled hipsters stay away. If you are a real man, can deal with an old time local gin mill, give their wings a shot.

Restaurant wise? Buffalo Wild Wings has some decent wings and a ton of sauces/flavors to choose from. Otherwise, I get my wings from the Holtsville Sports Deli in Holtsville. They're next to the Holtsville FD and the wings are amazing. Easily the best I have ever tasted - and I've had a lot.
