Default Rockville Centre

Is Rockville Centre a safe town to live with young children? Does Rockville Centre have good and bad areas?

Hi. Sounds like we have some things in common. We too looked at RVC< and GC. We have ruled RVC out...we are not happy with the surrounding towns. But otherwise, love the houses, property size, Inc village, etc.

I wrote to you on another thread, I am not sure if you saw it. I was asking you to PM me, but you dont have that option turned on. Can you turn that on?

I wanted to chat with you about something in another thread that I think we may have in common...let me know.

RVC high school just made the list for the best in the country again, I think it was in the top 100.
I have a dear friend that lives in RVC, she is single & really enjoys being able to walk places & the nightlife.
My stepdaughter lives in Lynbrook nearby & people rave about that town.
Both are too urban for me, I prefer a more rural setting.

SamTheCatRocks is on a distinguished road
I grew up in Oceanside, lived in Merrick when I first got married, and bought a house in Rockville Centre 5 years ago. The south shore of LI is a great area. RVC is a great place - the school district is top notch (as is Oceanside, you can live in RVC and have O'side schools as well). The house prices have escalated in the past few years, but it's a lovely town.
