Im seeing really nice new construction in RP/SB/MP High 3s low 4s.
Taxes gotta be brutal on those two families.

Where specifically and what bait and switch $$ are they claiming the taxes will be?

My guess 12-15k min.

Yeah we didn't talk taxes...but you are not the first person who has said that new construction taxes are a killer. From what I understand its ANY new development over a certain sq. footage.

2 family will kill you.

New construction will be at least 9k in this area.

Youll hear some standard BS about 7k but bank on being closer to 10.

Forget new....heres the buy of the week under 5.
Waterviews from 3 angles.Right on the bluffs
Bet you can snag it in the Mid 4s

Default Thank You

Thank you for all your responses. Seems like the only place on long island to buy a brand new home is either brookhaven thats next to a complex that scares me or somewhere in the middle of nowhere way out east.

I'm aware of the ridiculous taxes on new homes, they are out of their minds, but i want a new home so bad i'm willing to pay the stupid taxes errrr it makes me so mad. but what i'm looking for is not a new home some builder will profit off of the construction. I'm looking for an old scrappy house, i mean something really run down in a nice area so i can demolish it and hire a builder to build me one.

However, i dont even know where to start. Do you just look in the yellowpages for home builders and they take care of it all? from demolition to the new home or is there a lot more to it.
