The guys running the whole tea bag charade are partisans who want a Republican in power, period. Glen Beck is no different than Hannity or Limbaugh. The few real conservatives out there who aren't handed their marching orders by talk radio are not behind the gatherings and shrieking about health care, for the most part. it is a movement pushed by the new right and their mouthpieces: fox news, right wing blogs, Limbaugh et al.
It's not anything CLOSE to a grass roots movement. It is not indicative of the wonders of Democracy, it's indicative of how easily people are manipulated by dishonest media.
The Tea Party movement is a good thing. We need people to stand up for sound fiscal policy, proper spending, and lower taxes.
That fat, red-faced drunk Schmitt is the exact opposite of everything the Tea Party movement stands for.
Schmitt is part of what I call the "mafia political class". They are all over the Northeast (and they aren't all Italians) and Chicago. They are Republicans and Democrats alike who don't give a **** about anything other than lining their own pockets. Budgets be damned. Taxes be damned. They are going to get their piece of the pie.
They are the lowest form of political scum, and they must be weeded out.

Ike, Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton, Bush II (in the opposite sense of the other guys, he came off as so dopey that average American dopes identified with him).

To be fair he didn't vote for a raise for himself, it was just the top 3 positions. He did, however vote to give a raise to Schmitt who put him on the county payroll last year, and is a big reason why he is a job. He also said this...
