Were you instructed to tell people this was for an actual charity organization?

Sometimes I see kids (teenagers probably 15 and over) on the MTA subways walking through the trains selling candy and they say something like, "I'm not selling for a basketball team or any charity ... I'm selling candy to make some money for myself and keep busy." Do you think these kids are actually independent or do you think adults are running things in the background and taking a cut?
No charity, some organization though.

The kids on the subway I have no idea.

You know, there may be a market for snow addition. Say your neighbor ticks you off. For revenge, pay me money to shovel snow back in their driveway.

I wish! The kids on my street are lazy. I'd shell out a good amount of cash to get sidewalk/car/deck shoveled out.

It's a damn shame there isn't a market for used snow.
Isn't there some 3rd world country suffering from a drought that we could bottle it up and sell it to? Nevermind, 3rd world country wouldn't have the money to pay for it. Clooney and friends would ask us to donate it

My kid is a hustler. He's been out since this morning trying to make some coin. I told him, as his business manager I get a cut of the action, so I hope he does well!

You're not too far off. They've been shipping snow to Vancouver for the Winter Olympics. Vancouver has been having a more mild than normal winter.

I can hear the announcers at the Olympics now. "And there goes hotkarl, skiing down the grassy hill. If he makes the left turn at the right moment, he will avoid the lake. Now if we had a normal winter and he made the mistake, he would easily glide along the top of the frozen lake."

You too?

I observed at least 3 different cars cruising the neighborhood slowly, with a guy or 2 in tow walking alongside the cars with shovels.
I don't think they were connected, because they came at different times and in totally different cars. They would drive by real slow and just eyeball you, I guess waiting for the wave or nod to come over.
