Huntington Schools
I am looking for current 'subjective' information on the Huntington district schools, specifically Woodhull Intermediate and J. Taylor Finley Middle (and also Huntington High). It's possible that my step-sons will be coming to live with us starting in the Fall and those are the two schools we are zoned for. I realize that this school district has been discussed before. I'm looking for CURRENT information and specific experience. I'm not interested in how the schools were when you went 10 or 15 years ago, or what your sister's cousin's brother's ex-wife says, that doesn't really help me. The last 3 or 4 years of experience are all I'm really interested in, firsthand. In addition, if you live in Huntington/Huntington Station/Greenlawn/Huntington Bay/Halesite/Huntington Village and you send your child to private school, I'd love to know where, why (if you care to tell me) and how you like it.
