Default Connecticut explosion

Did anyone else on the Island hear or feel the explosion on Sunday? My wife and I were in the garage and heard a loud rumble followed by the house shaking. We were amazed, after seeing the news reports hours later, that we felt it from so far away. We are in Rocky Point, wondering how far the shock wave traveled...

BTW, my first post here. Been lurking for a week or so, learning a lot about the place I've lived my entire life.

I heard/felt some sort of rumbling around 11:30am yesterday but I am on the South Shore in West Islip so I don't think it's very likely that was it though.

I was indoors in a loud, crowded room in Setauket. Didn't hear/feel anything above and beyond the rumbling of the activity there.

Scary stuff.

Caithness is east of Medford... a little northeast of where woodside meets horseblock. I looked it up.

Anybody remember when the Lab lost a building 2 years ago? Pressure wave traveled down Sunrise all the way to West Hampton.

^ My parents said they felt it from a few miles away when the Grucci plant exploded in Bellport Village.

It's to the east of Old Dock Road for most of its length between 101 and Horseblock.
