Default LI bus N22/N22A

Anyone knows what's the difference between N22 and N22A? Is that true N22a makes local stops, while N22 is express bus?
If I get off at 169 Street of F train istread of 179th Street, is there a nearest LI bus N22 or N22a available around 169 Street because there are usually a lot of people getting on the N22or N22a at 179 street?

N22A terminates at Roosevelt Field and N22 terminates at Hicksville. The N22A does not stop at the Mineola intermodal center (Winthrop Hospital). Here's a link to a map of the lines. http://mta.info/libus/routes/n2222a/n22.pdf (broken link)

The 22A stays on Hillside Avenue past Willis Avenue until Roslyn Road. If you have to go to the Mineola LIRR station you would take the 22.

The N22A ends at Roosevelt Field and bypasses Mineola via Roslyn Rd, Jericho Turnpike, and Glen Cove Rd.
The N22 runs through Mineola and goes all the way to Hicksville. Its not a bad route west of Mineola, but the stretch between Roosevelt Field and Hicksville can get a bit hairy.
