The Southern part of East Farmingdale is not negatively affected by North Amityville at all. Not only is there a huge 6 lane parkway dividing the areas but that part of North Amityville that East Farmingdale borders is definitely one of the nicer parts of North Amityville with the larger and better looking houses.

But one thing that is notable about the area is that it is located directly south of a large industrial area.

The northwest part of Wyandanch (the part that looks like 3 sides of a trapezoid), that's directly between East Farmingdale on the west and Wheatley Heights on the east.

Walter...could you give us the GPS coordinates from now on? Few people use those old maps.

A very small area of what is commonly referred to as "Wyandanch" by the general public falls into the Half Hollow Hills SD; the same is true for the No. Babylon SD. The rest is in the Wyandanch SD.

I was aware that there was a very tiny section of Wyandanch that fell into North Babylon School District (the very eastern block of Cumberbach Street and one side of the eastern-most block of Booker Avenue); but I doubt there are any residential areas of Wyandanch in Half Hollow Hills School District. The part of Half Hollow Hills that Walter is referring to is just a large Cemetary.

I beg to differ!

There are currently two houses on the market in Wyandanch with HHH SD; one on Briarwood and one on Clearview

Briarwood and Clearview are streets deep in Wheatley Heights, they are actually not even near the Wyandanch border.

It was probably listed by some realtor who is unaware to the Long Island Real Estate Market and thought since it was 11798 that it could only be Wyandanch.

Those two properties are Wheatley Heights address and Half Hollow Hills School District.
