Empty booth at Babylon LIRR station (leasing, taxi, shop) - Long Island - New York (NY) - City-Data Forum

Does anyone know anything about the empty booth at the Babylon LIRR station? One is coffee shop, one is a news stand type, the other is empty, a ladder inside with a sign saying they moved? I think it may have been a taxi dispatch? Does the MTA or Babylon own this? Is anything going in there, if it is not an MTA property does anyone have any information about leasing this?

At one time there as a Taxi dispatch there.
I also know some people that drove for them as a second job.

Yep that's the booth (I assume) I think they moved to a store front in the area...

I remembered today that in my time one of my friend's while working for them wrecked on of the Taxi's.

All there complained about the condition of them and poor maintainence. He had been complaining about the brakes before the wreck.
