Exclamation Long Island Sub forum

I think this NY section should have a Long Island sub forum. And maybe even a NYC section or Upstate(albany) section.

JUST A SUGGESTION.

We got it changed in the Pennsylvania forum and its much better with it being divided up. It just makes it easier to look for the specific area information.

Dont you agree???

Very good idea...I really do think that Long Island is a location with so many unique qualities/problems that it deserves its own sub-forum.

I've already suggested this (a Long Island subforum) about six months ago. I got no response from the other mods. Just so you know.

If this site continues to grow...I believe New York State should be divided in the following manner...

New York main section

Sub forums:

-NYC
-Long Island
-Lower Hudson Valley...which would include these counties: Orange, Rockland, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan

Just my opinion.

"Ask and ye shall receive." I similarly pleaded with the Administrator for a new sub-forum for the NEPA and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of PA, and now that new sub-forum that was created is much more popular than the Philadelphia sub-forum and almost as popular as the Pittsburgh sub-forum! It looks as if Long Island's popularity is beginning to take off as well.

I also agree with BellaFinzi; the general NY state forum should be exclusively for Upstate NY, and a third sub-forum should be created for the Lower Hudson Valley and Orange, Westchester, Rockland, etc. Counties, as they are primarily all NYC commuter territory anyways.

Congratulations on your new sub-forum!
