Default Parking a scooter (like a Vespa) at Hicksville LIRR station?

Is this allowed without a TOB sticker?

I would think you would still need a permit/sticker. I would think you would have a good chance of somebody steeling it.

Someone told me you can actually park it in a bike rack, any truth to this? Also, if not, our we allowed to cover the scooter up in a metered spot at a lirr station(paying ofcourse)?
