My wife and I, somewhat new to Levittown, are looking into moving our boiler from our Kitchen to our utility room and are looking for recommendations for companies that could do the job. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone who recently had the job done could provide a ballpark price of what to expect that would be great.

Thank you

How close is the utility room in relation to where the boiler is right now? All the piping, duct & electrical wiring will need to be extended, re-routed or replaced.

It is in the rear of the house in the back of what would have originally been the garage. Are you familiar with Levitt houses?

Call your oil company and ask them how much to do the move. I live in a Levitt cape and we actually just moved our stairs and the boiler which was under them to a new location. I couldnt tell you the price though because it was part of a bunch of work we are doing to the house right now. I know someone that just moved their boiler, and I believe they used their oil company for the job

It is quite expensive from what I have hear. Call a few oil companies for estimates. You will also need repair work for the floor and other areas that piping needs to be laid. It is a big job. I would recommend you plan to remodel the kitchen and not just want to move the boiler, you may have to remodel cosmetically.
