Maybe for under $100,000 you could buy small piece of land and put up a tent.

That's the $120K house I mentioned earlier in the thread.
It's one of the few remaining bungalows which have been 'improved' but not built out on.

I won't lie. I mentioned this to my DH as an ideal starter slumlord rental.

seriously, stop, because I'm laughing so hard I'm about to hemorrhage. You have to be a troll. A quick perusal of these boards or any real estate site will tell you that you are out of your ever-lovin'-mind.

People aren't laughing with you - they're laughing at you. If you've found city-data then you've certainly found realtor.com and mlsli.com.

Your best bet is to look for a condo or co-op.

Here check these out...atleast its Bay Shore school district & not Brentwood.

1C Hemlock Dr Unit: 147, Bay Shore, NY, 11706 - MLS #2256185 - Condo/Townhome/Row Home/Co-Op real estate - REALTOR.com®

That's fine OBH

Please thake care of it and you'll be fine.

Be sure to have your CO/CEUs in place when the inspectors stop by.
Our Councilwoman lives fairly close by and Moderator cut: crude language removed for absentee slumlords.

Better yet why not expand it and come back yourself?

I suspect there's no CEU on the house and they are looking for a cash deal at that price.

It's because she lives in Rocky Point. (Joking!)
Four humans, a pack of dogs, a fleet of cars and bikes on 6,ooo sq ft? No thanks. For me to up and move, it has to be .75 acre or better, waterview or on the water.

The house would make a decent rental for a single or a couple.

Nope ...she just worked her butt off as a volunteer to clean up her town before she ran for office.

We'll get you back home soon enough.
