Does anyone know if any districts in Suffolk county other than Middle Country offer a full-year Universal Pre-K for all residents? I checked out multiple district websites, and can't find any.

The only one I found so far offering any type of Pre-K was Rocky Point, but it was only limited to 75 students via lottery, and they actually send you to a local independent Pre-K, not any of the district's buildings.

The program is off site but quite good.

St Anselms is an excellent Pre School if given the choice.

I believe Half Hollow Hills offers UPK as well.

Whats wrong with the MCR one? I know many people who have sent their kids there. They absolutely love it. Just because its in the MCR SD dosnt mean its bad. You should check it out for yourself. Goodluck.

Sachem SD offers it every year for about 225 students, but I'm afraid you missed the deadline for this year. I did hear them mention that this year its pending budget approval.
This program is only for 2 and half hours - 5 days a week though, its not a whole day affair.

What is your PERSONAL (i.e.: not something you have read, heard from others or are making up) experience with this school? Did your kids or yourself go there? In your PERSONAL experience, what makes this school so good?

Which?

RP or St Anselms?

If youre moving here PM me for specifics.
I dont think Middle Country offers it.

Sort of...some of the kids are at a district school, and the others are at another facility. My 4 year old is in the RP program and her classes are held at a Lutheran Church campus with a school attached.
