I really wouldn't care if my car's registration got scanned at the car wash.
I'll really be pissed off if I'm in the bath or the shower and I get scanned though !

OK well I did the logical thing and called and asked. they are using the scanner to get your plate number so they don't have to do it manually. They get the plate number to determine if you are a member of their car wash club so they'll know not to charge you:

So I guess Big Brother really isn't using the car wash as a front..

the car wash probably gets paid by an outside source to keep track of your vehicles history. I spoke to a friend about it yesterday and this is one way big brother will be able to keep an eye on you.
LOL....I'm sure they are deep in touch with Abdul at the carwash to know I cleaned my car. In fact, I bet the FBI and, quite possibly, the CIA are also checking to see what soap I bought so they know if I bathe daily. I think I will never give my Waldbuams card up at the supermarket ever again!!!!
