Well, I know the houses in Commack are more money. I was tryying to find something affordable and thats bohemia.

475 will do you right in many towns.

If I worked in Bohemia Id look to live east of there.

On the South Id Check out Sayville/Bayport/Blue Point/Eastport
On the Mid Id check out Bohemia/Holbrook/Manorville
On the North Id Check out Stony Brook/Port Jefferson/Mt Sinai/Miller Place/Rocky Point.
With that budget

Unless you are making a huge jump in salary, don't make the move. Taxes start out high and go up EVERY year.
