Not sure if anyone is still looking at this, but this just happened to us after the power went out after hurricane Irene. You have to press function then 4 then bypass. Not all at once. Just one at a time in that order. Did the trick.

Good luck!

Elke - very true But I figured someone else might stumble here via Google like I did.

Lubby - from the thread, it sounded like he's not using anyone but just using it for the wailing siren in case someone tries to get in. Won't contact any central station but might be enough to scare off an intruder.

Beside, Slomins loses contact with their customers all the time. They aren't even aware of it but you have to call them and ask them to test the connectivity. Especially after power outages or cable outages (if you have your phones via cable packages like I do and much of Long Island).

Take care all

hello everyone, i too have the same panel of the slomins shield security and i also am no longer with them. recently it started to beep constantly so i removed the battery from the hidden box. on the panel every zone light is blinking, 1-6, the trouble light is on (red triangle with exclamation point), and im not sure how to reset this. ive tried the many suggestions in the previous pages but no luck. i dont know the user code so any option using that is out of the question. please any help with this would be appreciated, thank you

If you are not using the alarm why don't you just power it down with the transformer and battery?
