Looking for kerosene in Nassau around East Meadow? (Hicksville, North Bellmore: store, station)

Looking for a place that sells kerosene in Nassau. Only need a small amount, like 5 gallons. It used to be available all over the place in the early 80s. I am located in East Meadow and the only place that I know of that still sells it now is a gas station on Jericho turnpike in Syosset, but would like to find a place closer.

The best place to get small quantities of undyed kerosene in Long Island is Hess. They don't sell it at all locations, but I get mine at 540 W. Old Country Rd, Hicksville. Hess has a nice store locator where you can select Kerosene in your search criteria at Hess Express Store Locator (http://www.hessexpress.com/locations/default.aspx - broken link). Picked mine up today for $3.25/gal.

Looks like that location in Hicksville is the one that is closest to me, so I will be going there.

Try the gas station on the corner of North Jerusalem and Bellmore Road in North Bellmore. The station sells racing fuel and I have seen a pump that says Kerosene on it.
