I layed down pavers in my driveway and now I am seeing ant mounds in between the paver joints. They are digging up a lot of sand. How do I get rid of the ants without damaging or discoloring my pavers?

OMG Gpsma !!!! you gave me a good laugh. I'm in ant hell too, but I finally bought a product for ants from home depot and sprayed all the mounds and I really can't believe it, they are gone. But it doesn't last.

My last straw was when they decided to move into the garage coming out from under the cement steps that lead into the house. So I sprayed the S*It out of the garage and nearly killed myself. Was it worth it....oh yeah. Them babies are gone along with all the other living things in there.

you gotta kill the queen or they will never leave. You have to use something that the worker ants will bring back to the queen for her to eat. Boric acid mixed with sugar works (Commercially I think this is sold as "Terro". Sprays or powders wont do a thing unless you get to the queen.

boiling water in the paver joints. test it on one paver to make sure it will not discolor . Works just fine on concrete
