Default ok, so they lost game 5. But......

Is there anyone out there who is confident the Lakers can win the last two??

I give them 75% chance for game 6.
If they win that, I give them a 55% chance for game 7 if nothing out of the ordinary happens (injuries, flu, etc).

I just don't want to lose to boston. My nerves can't take it.

I'd rather lose two championships to anybody else than lose one to boston.

Things may change when they get back on their home turf. Let's hope so!

lakers dont deserve the title , after seeing game 1 you would think l.a would come out with full force and also take game 2, and probably loose 2 games to boston anyway and come back to l.a 3 - 2.

but nope l.a has got worse and worse each game , and this game today was pretty much saying to me that celtics have figured out the lakers game play and are taking the title.

i mean come on only the celtics are smart enough to let kobe go on fire and keep the whole rest of the team on lock because celtics know that kobe by himself cant beat them.

so kobe thanks for waisting your fire on this game

The Celtics most definitely have the edge and the lead. But playing the next one or two games in Los Angeles may be even more of a battle. The issue is everyone else but Kobe and Pau. With Bynum injured AGAIN it could very well cost the Lakers the championship. Lot's of talk that the investment in Andrew Bynum has not been worth it [some players are just injury-prone] and he can not be relied on. Lamar hasn't been very impressive either & Artest is too frenetic & impulsive.

It is a shame that the hated Celtics are out-playing the Lakers but there is, of-course, a chance that the Lakers could pull it out.

Laker fans seem so ready to right off the lakers. I hope that's not the vibe at staples come tuesday night. Lakers stole 1 game at boston and that is alot if you ask me considering this celtics team beat up the cavs and magic who both had better season records than L.A did. Boston is the team to beat and they defended there home court thats all!!
Celtics won game 4 by the crowd feeding off of big babies game play and game 5 because it was a must win for them they definately didnt want to go to L.A down 3-2. Game 5 was a must win for boston.
Keep in mind for any laker fan that watched games 4&5 the lakers did keep those within reach.
Lakers at home and are now in that must win situation as well. Yeah they are down 3-2 however they have a pretty good chance to turn it around and they will be more than happy to have the crowd behind them.

Charles: I am with you on that front. And with home court in our favor, this one will really hurt if we lose. Good to see your residency in the South has NOT diluted your dedication to the Lakers!

The Laker fans are behind their team & if anything, will be demanding good basketball this Tuesday. The fans are not above booing the Lakers if they play poorly however. The Celtics are entering enemy territory and must be considered the under-dog even if they are 3-2 against LA right now.

The Celtics have a team. The Lakers have a player.

Boston will wrap it up Tuesday.
