Hey guy, I have a job offer in Santa Monica, I did some research here and found about paycheckcity.com, my question is... how accurate is it? here is what Im looking at:

Your Pay Check Results

Bi-weekly Gross Pay $4,807.69
Federal Withholding $1,082.12
Social Security $298.08
Medicare $69.71
California $394.32
CA SDI $52.88

Net Pay $2,910.58

Is this going to be the same Net Pay I get all year long? or does the Net Pay go up ( and federal withholding / or california tax go down? ) as the year comes to an end?

Thanks guys really appreciate any help.

ALSO, Congratz on the Lakers win tonight !

That will be your pay check all year. Looks okay, but you're not mentioning any writeoffs you may have. And don't forget retirement and health bennies

It's very accurate when you fill it out correctly. It got my check within $10.

For 2010, only the first $106,800 will have Social Security taxed and only the first $93,316 will have CA SDI taxed. I assume you are just starting so you won't hit these for 2010. The limits may go up slightly in 2011

Thanks guys, I think what DowntownVentura said is what my friend was talking about.
so, here is the question, based on the paycheque I'll be getting, will I be able to live in a nice place, get the fancy car etc? I would like to may be get a house or a nice big apartment.
I was looking at some apartments @ Versailles on 8811 Burton Way. Is that a nice safe area? more than anything I want it to be safe.

Thanks for all the help guys!
