Funny how some people concentrate on such very very very few minute instances of violence.

All it was were your Mexican gang banger Raider Nation types who do stuff like that. We are talking very very very very few people in a large crowd. No need to even start a thread about it because there were such few instances of that.

We heard a bunch of commotion in our neighborhood and was wondering what was going on and through elimination figured it was about the Lakers. Our first thoughts were, 'wonder if there's going to be any rioting?'....well, that sure was answered. What a shame.

These outbursts generally go hand in hand with alcohol consumption. Yesterday afternoon well before the Laker game, street drunkenness and rowdy behavior closed a major street in South LA when Mexico won in soccer at the World Cup. Last night some idiots even walked out on the Harbor Freeway and stopped traffic Arrests for drunken behavior were the main police response. Last year people in sports bars on Colorado Blvd ran out into the street when the Lakers won & battled with Pasadena PD for hours. Isn't it interesting that people who smoke marijuana don't go berserk?

Are you kidding? Who cares how short the duration was when it causes this much damage? A person being beaten unconscious? Vehicles being set on fire and windows being smashed in? People running onto the freeways?
