Where would you prefer?

BTW...if you don't know what those abbreviations are, don't bother voting because you don't know LA enough to participate in this thread.

There are quite a few places you didn't mention, like Venice.

And wouldn't it make more sense to group Brentwood in with Santa Monica than Beverly Hills? It is west of the 405....

I'd say SM/Venice/MDR/PDR. That pretty much covers coastal L.A., since Malibu is its own city. Well, SM is, too, but it blends right into Venice, which blends into MDR, etc.

SM also blends into West LA, Brentwood, and Mar Vista (I assume Mar Vista would be in the "West L.A." category, though....). However, the BEST part of SM blends into Venice.

you have north oc and south oc, but dont mention west oc. some people lump in seal, huntington, cypress, los al, etc with north oc, but its a totally different vibe/neighborhood from fullerton/brea in north oc and newport on down in south oc

Oh...sorry.

Well, that's why I made the "Other" option.

That's true, but I was thinking coastal. West L.A., Brentwood and Mar Vista are inland.
