I am renting an apartment in LA downtown. To get a parking space, I paid $75.00 and registered 2 cars when signed up the contract. Now, they are telling me that only one car can be registered and if I park non-registered car, they will tow it away even I park it at my space. The reason they are telling me is that I parked my car at guest parking in the past so they said they will take my privillage to registere 2 cars. Do they have right to do so? Is it legally ok?
anybody help me? I am so stressed out on this issue.

It all depends on whether your lease agreement says one or two spaces included. However, most lease agreements will stipulate the car must be registered. The City of Los Angeles will fine a housing community for allowing non-registered cars so most communities are proactive in preventing non-registered cars from parking there.
