Default Vacation in Santa Monica for September

Hi everybody,

I see that you guys are sooo good at giving tips on pretty much everything, so I was wondering if you could help me on how and where to look for some decent rentals that don't have sky rocketing price features? Any good suggestions?
Thanks

Are you staying for the entire month or just a few days?

Craigslist has some good listings for short-term vacation rentals if you plan on staying a week or longer.

I'm not a student, and staying there with my husband for two weeks...
Craiglist is fine but with all the scam involved,it is pretty annoying thing...you just never know..I tried some sites like homeaway, vrbo etc...but those people expect to rob you for like 3to4k for two weeks, so I'm supposed to pay like 300$ night, security deposit, cleaning fee, booking deposit......Yeah right
