You were asking if Mission Hills by Laurel Canyon and Fox were a safe place to live.
it use to be, not a bad area.
If your looking towards the eastern end of the San Fernando valley, you could look towards North Hollywood, Sherman oaks, Encino, although Encino is now getting on the edge of eastern and western end of the valley.
Anything near Ventura Blvd from Encino east is safe.
Might add , not a bad place to connect if your in the film or arts.
Hope this was of some help,
good luck

Whats your definition of safe?

Its a rundown area of San Fernando Valley. Nothing horrible.

But if you're looking for cookie cutter homes in a neighborhood with good schools, your're sniffing up the wrong tree here. The homes there are relatively inexpensive for a reason.
