That's not June gloom. That's monsoonal moisture flowing from the south. Normally occurs in August but can occur in July. Resulted in thunderstorms yesterday and brush fires ignited by lightening strikes.

When it's cloudy, it's gloomy... no matter what month.

The weather is perfect right now. Then again I live on the coast and a hot day would be 85 plus. we don't have an airconditioner or ever need one it seems. Yesterday I met the family on the beach after work. With June gloom they would have stayed home or done some other thing. Still the water is a little cold for me, but then I am getting old, at least my kids think so. Still not too old to take it out on the water in a wet suit.

When it started raining, it felt really weird. I was in Downtown LA for work, and it felt like I was transported to Arizona. El Nino really did a good number on us this year

I love warm summer nights though. They're my most favorite thing in the world Well..maybe a FEW things beat that, but...you get the jist

Its funny how much Californians complain about weather, if its not a ~70 clear day people complain. This heat is nothing.

June gloom??? Good god you guys are babies down there. 1 month of cloudiness is so hard to handle, there's actually a local name for it. Unreal lol.
