Hi. We brought the kids to Disney and we're now looking for a good place that serves fried fish, like calamari or other fish with fries. Hopefully someone understands what I mean.
We'd like a place close to Disney, preferably, but we will travel, especially if close to the beach. Thx!

There aren't too many fish places right around Disneyland, but Red Robin is right around the corner and has decent fish and chips(Hof's Hut fits this bill as well). Calamari is generally reserved for Italian restaurants.

Near the beach, Shoreline Cafe and a few restaurants on Main Street in Seal Beach, Captain Jacks/Harpoon Harry's/Don the Beachcomber/etc in Surfside, and various other places pretty much all along Pacific Coast Highway along the coast in OC are decent to great places that serve fish fried and otherwise. Los Alamitos Fish Company is a nice restaurant to dine in for fish, and a short drive from Seal Beach and Long Beach.

The best fresh fried fish in the area is Berth 55 in Long Beach(little restaurant and a little dockside counter essentially). It is very close to the Queen Mary, Russian Skorpion Submarine, Aquarium of the Pacific, and Shoreline Village in Long Beach(very family friendly area essentially). Fish comes right off the boat and in to the deep fryer.

Sorry, not too familiar with Orange County restaurants. You may want to check yelp.com or post in the Orange County forum!
