Sorry for the hostility, but I'm a little ticked because this could be inappropriate.

And why should the citizenship be like that of the mother? Basing citizenship on the father's citizenship seems to be more common worldwide.
Daddy goes home, mommy stays. That's pretty simple. Again, IMHO, unless the parent with whom the child PRIMARILY resides is a citizen (native or naturalized), they should have the SAME immigration status as the parents.

It'll never happen, but I can dream, can't I?

Isn’t it if one parent is a US citizen then the child has automatic citizenship? Hey on the brighter side the prices of homes are dropping drastically probably because of the uneducated, uninformed, impatient, California’s that have 0 – 1% amortization loans and the chicken are coming home to roost. (That and the citrus crop is taking a beating so they’re out of work) Sorry I’ll try and be a little more P.C.

That's not Spanish, it's Calo slang, which incorporates Spanish words.
Now if someone posted here in slang which is unquestionably English but which many people here couldn't understand (like Cockney rhyming slang, Jamaican patois, or Strine) would they get reported? Maybe I should try it ):

Should we allow someone to promote gangs in a thread?

1)You're quite wealthy

3)You love being in a gang
Funny, none of those 3 apply to me and I love L.A.
