Armenia is not a Mediterranean country. The proper term would be 'West Asian'.

Armenians speak an Indo-European language, live all over the world (see Armenian diaspora), but are by no means found exclusively in Armenia, Lebanon, Syria and Iran. They are also in France, Romania, Russia, Greece, etc. The Armenia (former Armenian S.S.R.) rests inside of the borders of Europe, not Asia. Culturally, however, Armenians are definitely heavily influenced by West Asia.

I am highly familiar with these folks have spent tons of time with Armenians. I would say that many of them, not all, are culturally European, or in some cases, Russophiles (maybe the only ones in Europe who love Russians, it's bizarre and has to do with security guarantees against Azerbaijan.).

Gotta be honest and say I don't go to LA much since I'm not a fan of the city. Are Armenians a large minority throughout the city or just Glendale, Burbank, and N. Hollywood? I know these are the main cities they reside.
What Mediterranean country are you from? It's interesting that you never said.

Actually, Armenia lies in both Europe and Asia, after I've done more research. Countries like Russia use "Eurasia" instead of Europe and Asia individually. I guess we could say the people in that region are as mixed as the culture, regarding European and West Asian.
