Don't get offended. I'm just reporting what I see. Homeowners don't leave their McD bags lying in their driveway. Renters will leave them lying in parking lot of the very building in which they live. Renters will toss trash towards the dumpster, miss, and leave the trash lying there. It's not related to moral superiority... it's a based on feelings of ownership.

i know what you mean. i'm always picking up (paper-- won't touch anything else!) trash my neighbors leave around the building-- everything from take-out cups on the ground in the garage to junk mail they just drop beneath the mailboxes because it's just too taxing to put it into the wastecan while they wait for the elevator.

Mirthala Salinas of Telemundo. It's only the most blogged story in LA right now! The picture of her reporting the news that the mayor indeed was splitting up with his wife (without revealing her own role in it) is on LA Weekly's site. Look it up in Mayor Sam's blog too. She was placed on unpaid leave today while NBC/Telemundo investigates the propriety of her conduct.

I don't like making sport of another person's pain (Corina, who by the way is the sole owner of their home in Mt Washington), but many cynics are amused by the timing of all these revelations. Last week it was City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo's turn to be battered by the press; now it's his arch rival MAV's. Notice how the camera hungry mayor is MIA?

Just as a small tidbit...my brother lives in the building where his mistress lived until he moved her to a condo. In most of the articles it mentions a woman named Jean Rudda that spotted the Mayor going into the building to visit his mistress, quite awhile ago...now Jean is all over the press for the run in she had with the mayor which is making me nauseous already.

On talk radio it was reported that someone saw the mayor on the condo elevator with takeout food and a bottle of wine. The mayor of the 2nd largest city in America out on a date!

The someone was my brother's friend Jean and the condo is where they live in Sherman Oaks.
