Default Westside school reassignment shuffle: Hamilton HS loses chunks of its attendance zone

http://www.laschools.org/employee/mp...aps/Proj04.pdf

This map shows the loss of some attendance areas by Hamilton High School.

With the opening of West Adams Preparatory High School in the West Adams area, the number of forced transfers will decrease.

LAUSD decided to reassign students in sections of the attendance zone from Hamilton to:
* Fairfax High School
* University High School
* Venice High School (Including areas around Charnock Road ES, Clover Avenue ES, and Palms MS)

I'm not sure if the parents in the attendance zones will feel good about the changes.
