You would make more friends more easily in TX then in CA. People in SoCal, generally speaking, are more superficial, pretentious and image conscious. The girls in Austin are a whole lot more approachable and friendlier compared to CA. I think you would like Austin a lot. On the other hand if you enjoy socializing within your own culture, then I would say move to LA. There is not a large, vibrant southeast asian demographic in TX like there is in LA and OC. If you have family their and cousins in LA I am sure they can help you out, just dont go there with high expectations of finding a decent job; I dont know any other way to put it to you.

This thread is such a bogus fake. The OP and half the responders are the same person who has an ax to grind about California. What a weird excuse for genuineness.

LOOOOOOOOL

This is too funny. dude I am just stating the obvious about CA and trying to give people good advice. What you want me to tell people there are plenty of jobs here in SoCal? I have no axe to grind, I was born and raised in CA and may even return to CA in 2-3 years if the economy improves here in CA. stop being so sensitive about what others say about CA, its not like I am saying anything that is not true.
