Is there anyone on this forum that can tutor me in Java? I am currently taking this class at Cal Poly and I need help with my java programming class. I am willing to negotiate a good price for tutoring. I really need to pass this class in order to graduate.

Thank you,

Dan

It was actually filmed in Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale, AZ. Even the "Raging Waters" scene was filmed at a water park in Mesa. (Loved the movie, though! )

San Dimas is a boring city but its nice. It really depends on what your interest are. Quite honestly, going to Orange County will be easier and faster than going to LA most days. Covina is boring regardless of the 2 or 3 bars which seem to change over and over every 3 years. Pasadena is cool every once in a while. I use to really enjoy Pasadena when I younger but the last 2 times have been extremely boring.

One thing for sure, you will NEED a car. Not want, NEED.

Yeah, I like how Pomona is close to Orange County. Sure Pasadena is nice and I've been there before, but OC IS AWESOME! It's where I want to work and live. It's conservative and christian and I have family there.

Okay, so I have another question. My first semester in college I was at CSU Northridge. And my experience there was good and bad, but mostly bad. It was my first time living in a larger city coming from a small town in the Central Coast. I noticed that people in the city can be more rude and forget manners when they're in a rush, people are more into fashions, money becomes a big part of life because people down there are more business orientated, and the spirituality time down there is on Sundays.

What is the best way to make friends down in the city? How do I get to be friends with my room mates and meet other people I click with in the dorms?
Obviously I should try to find people similar to me and things in common. But I had a hard time down there because not everyone was a Conservative and many people were liberals and had a different moral system.

Thanks for the help! Maybe I'll click with people from OC more since it's more Christian and Conservative?

Phillips Ranch is a nice area to live in Pomona. Very close to Cal Poly.
