Question Teaching Opportunities in L.A.?

Anyone have any first-hand knowledge of how the job market is for Special Education teachers (middle/high school level) in L.A.? Are the only available jobs in really "bad" schools?

Thanks!

AVHSD in the Antelope Valley/High Desert. 5K signing Bonus with very good pay. Also an opportunity for 1/6th pay and extra duties.

My base was 72K before I left.

Nice!

But I'd need to be in Los Angeles, or very close by. This sounds like maybe it's a bit of a distance?

Thanks, all, for the input!
