Thanksgiving in LA
My wife and I are on a west coast vacation trip and will be driving to Santa Monica/LA from San Francisco the night before thanksgiving. Looking for advise from the locals on what we could do on Thanksgiving, including any good places to visit and/or to eat that might be open?

You could try the Santa Monica Promenade ice rink ... i think they're open all thru the holidays.

also check out the venice boardwalk, i'm sure the street vendors will be out. as for places to eat, check out the restaurants on the top floor of the new mall next to the 3rd st promenade, i've heard good things.
