Any opinions on the Kwik E Mart/7 Eleven in Los Angeles? (Burbank: photos, summer)

To promote the Simpsons movie this summer, they turned about a dozen 7 Eleven's across the country into real life "Kwik E Marts" from the show.

Any opinions on the one at Venice and Sepulveda?

I was there last week. They were out of some things, but even so, I think it's worth seeing even if you're a casual Simpsons fan. I haven't followed the show in years, but I thought it was still pretty cool.

Alot of attention to detail. The cut out characters were fun.

I think the promotion is only going to last a month.

I went to the one in Burbank, which had a line around the corner! I even bought a squishy, but I drew the line at those donuts with pink frosting! It was fun, but I couldn't believe I was standing in line for what is still essentially a 7-11!

I like the new version better than the 7-11.

I dont visit 7-11s generally because of the bums, panhandlers and drunks that hang around the front doors. Especically the ones near wilshire & barrington and sawtelle & santa monica blvd.
