We arrived in LA a couple weeks ago and are really enjoying the area. Thanks to all who helped over the past few months with info re: where to live, etc.

Funny that you mention that. A friend of ours who has lived here a long time mentioned last Thursday that it felt like earthquake weather. I didn't realize there was a predictability to it, so that's fascinating.

Big Ten fan here, but not the Buckeye variety. I'm an Illinois native and U of I alum and will be okay not seeing any Buckeye gear for a while. The fans are okay, but not on game days.

There may be no truth to it but it is interesting the weather on Febuary 9, 1971 and January 17, 1994 was in the 80s. I remember both days vividly.
