Somebody told me they at one point had space aliens in the zoo, so maybe that's the reason for the ghosts and the bodies are those of buried space aliens the government was trying to conceal. BTW, when I was little I saw shadow people at the place with all the trains on display.

"Next time you die" would also kinda bum me out as well.

Gotta see this, next trip down south.

Same here.

I'm visiting an ex who I'm sure would be happy to re-enact the whole episode on the table with me.

I'll let you know if anything weird happens.

Interesting thread indeed nighthouse66, and interesting posts from everyone else here. I live about 20 minutes away from Griffith Park, have been there several times over the years, but was never privy to these stories until now, and I'm into this stuff pretty heavy. Ill have to go there again and take my camera, take some pics around the picnic table/zoo area sometime soon. Hopefully Ill get some interesting things on camera. If I do, it certainly wont be the first time I've gotten weird things on photos I've taken.

The Old Zoo is absolutely fascinating. The most eerie part may be the entry sign, reminding us that the howls and screams of the animals "could be heard for miles throughout the valley."

Gives me chills every time.
