Back in the 80's we explored a long series of caves located near Spawn Ranch in the Chatsworth hills. It had a chamber in the center rumored to be a hide out for Charles Manson with a pipe carved in a rock, hence the name. That was one hairy excursion and one you had to commit to for there was no turning back once you slid down those slides.

Is it still accessible or did the cops seal it off?

proudmommy - thank's for the video, I remember having to drop into the opening using a rope so I guess that's the place, it was long before all the graffiti though.
