flying into lax 25th june and need to get to hilton hotel/universal city,4 adults 4 cases so basic cab too small,want to avoid excessive charges,any ideas re:shuttle service etc,thanks

rent a minivan
super shuttle type vans
van nuys flyaway then city bus

Flyaway to Union Station http://www.lawa.org/uploadedfiles/la...le_08-2009.pdf
There, catch the Red Line to Universal Studios which will let you out two blocks from the Hilton.

One other suggestion, call the Hilton and see what they recommend.

This makes the most sense.

It'd be $8.50 per person. $7 for Flyaway and $1.50 per person on the redline.

You may wanna take the shuttle bus to Universal Studios. It's across the street from the subway station and is free.
