Default Trailer/Rv Park In Lancaster

Hello Everyone

I've been browsing the boards here quite a bit and I was reading how horribly awful Lancaster is and I was wondering if any of you think it might be ok to live in Trailer/Rv Park I have my eye on. The address is 43155 North Sierra Hwy and it's super cheap which is always suspicious lol. From what I've read, the whole city is bad but sometimes there can be little areas or places like this that are ok so, I thought I'd ask. Lancaster is not where I want to be but at least it's California (which I love and am from originally) and since I will have a travel trailer, I can always leave when I want to. I also should mention that I am looking for long term in a trailer park and not temporary camping grounds so that's why neighborhood safety is an issue. Oh, and I'm a single woman with a baby. Thanks for any and all advice in advance

There's a FABULOUS one of these in Malibu of all places, just above PCH. Some rigs were ritzy and many were downright humble.

Not a good area. Your neighbors will be crack addicts, prostitutes, drug dealers, and sex offenders.

Don't do it, seriously. Born and raised in the area and the park you are describing is not safe, much less nice. Keep looking--good luck!

Palmdale and Lancaster are on the top five biggest drug capitals in California. I’m from Lancaster born and raised. I like Los Angles and Lancaster was cheap place to live, I bought a home in 1998 for only 55,000. My neighbors were robed, I was robed, my house was vandalized, the local police were a joke undermanned and worthless. Took me two weeks to get a Lancaster Sherriff to come to my house after it was vandalized 20,000 in property damage. Then the city came out and threatened to fine me 500 if I didn’t make the repairs in 30 days. I’m very happy to say I sold the property took my money and ran. I’m very happy in the San Diego area, It’s higher cost but I rather be struggling financially to make ends meet then go through the problems in Lancaster again.

That area on Sierra, not recommended, unless you like prostitutes. Be warned, the only good looking one is a cop. How about Thousand Trails in Acton. It is tucked down off Soledad and has lots of trees.
