am looking for friendships in California/L.A area.Am interested to visit L.A in the near future.Would like to find helpfull friends in L.A.

well what do you like to do? do you play any sports? a great way to make friends is to join a sporting group around here. for example i started going to some rides with the PMBC (pasadena mountain biking club) and met some cool people there.

See how stupid people are in LA. Good luck in finding friendships in LA...people are fake here and it is pretty much everyone for themselves. very clichey. Plus, because unless you are best friends with people in your neighborhood, meeting people is a task with the traffic.
I hope you find good people here, I'm sure they exist. It's just that people don't talk to others if they don't know you. A lot of stuck up people. I used to be one of them before I moved to Hawaii 10 years ago.
