Moving out of California
Wanting to move out of California as we have raised our kids and want out of the rat race. We would like to move where the cost of living is a little cheaper. Buy a big piece of property to build a home on, in an area where there are mountains to look at, and a city nearby. Not out in the middle of nowhere's ville and not to far East or Midwest. Any suggestions.

On the flip side, Where do your kids live (or might be living....especially if they may give you grand kids)? Is it still in California? If so, and since it appears you have been in California a while and probably have equity, then why move? Why move from your kids and grandkids?
