yeah, i probably should have said slightly outdated, as all the single men i've known who cook regularly and well are long past the bachelor apartment stage of their lives. i'm guessing term probably dates back to the dark ages when young women generally did not move out of their parents' homes before marriage, and if they did, they did not live alone, so only a bachelor would have rented a single-occupant dwelling.

Bachelor apartments are one room with a bath. Sometimes they have an abbreviated kitchen or kitchenette, sometimes, they don't.

A studio has a full kitchen, often separate.

A Jr. 1 bedroom has some sort of niche (sometimes with a door) to stick a bed. I rented one of these once. I had to climb over my bed to get into my bathroom. It had a huge living room. Made no sense.

this isn't a property rental website .... try losangeles.craigslist.org or westsiderentals.com.

Couple people have touched on it, but usually "bachelor" is used for places with no stove/oven. They may have an area with a refrigerator and a hot plate, they may not, but I can't remember seeing anything advertised as a "Bachelor" that had a full stove/oven.
