i did that drive this weekend during off hours and it's about an hour without traffic. I'd expect that to double during commute hours.

Just getting out of Laguna Beach and on to the freeway would about do it for me.

My thoughts exactly. Love Laguna, but commuting to W.L.A. is totally insane. You'll be very unhappy.
