Parking near Pershing Square? (Pasadena, Sierra Madre: home, garage, train)

I might have to see a concert in Pershing Square on a Saturday. Where would I park?

Since it's a Sat night, perhaps I could just use meters.

What time on a Saturday night (6pm, 8pm, etc)?

There is parking in the Pershing Square garage (under the park). There is also a pretty cheap surface lot at 4th and Spring. Not sure of the exact cost.

Parking under Pershing Square is quite expensive. I usually can find street parking by heading south towards 8th street.

If you aren't going to be out too late, you can always park at another Red Line station and take the subway there.

This is a good idea. I've parked at the Sierra Madre Villa Gold Line station in Pasadena for free and taken the train in to DTLA numerous times. I'm sure that's an option along the other lines, as well.

And I agree with everyone who says to take public transportation. You may even get home quicker than if you park in the underground lot.
