"Cultural" pertaining to what?

I particularly like the diversity of cars I see during traffic jams, also the diversity of car accidents.

It's too early to refer to a cultural capital of the 21st century yet.

L.A. has the potential to become one, otoh it also has the potential to turn into Detroit with nicer weather or Vegas with less respect for personal freedom.

There is that matter of the looming water crisis, which will make ALL of L.A.'s current problems seem petty.

Why do you L.A. surpasses NYC? NYC still has the same cultural attractions that it had in the past and more.

The more Mexican Los Angeles becomes, the less racially diverse it will be. Any city that ends up becoming overwhelmingly dominated by 1 race is not racially diverse.

You don't know the history of LA. LA was founded by Mexicans and has had a large Mexican influence since around 1780. It is part of the fused culture with Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Jewish, Persian, Russian, etc.

LA is the most diverse city in the country.
